SML Mahindra Free Service Camp Concludes in Pokhara with Over 100 Vehicles

Laxmi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. has concluded the SML Mahindra Free Service Camp in Pokhara, with more than 100 SML Mahindra commercial vehicles participating in the four-day initiative.

The camp was held from Ashoj 15 to Ashoj 18, 2083, with participation not only from Pokhara but also from customers and vehicles from Gorkha and surrounding areas.

The initiative focused on regular vehicle servicing, technical inspections and maintenance guidance while strengthening the company's after-sales support.

During the camp, customers received 50% discounts on labour charges, 15% off lubricants and 15–20% discounts on spare parts. Technical inspections were also carried out, while participating customers received gifts as part of the service campaign.

The service camp also highlighted the importance of BS6 technology in modern commercial vehicles. With greater emphasis on reducing emissions, improving fuel efficiency, enhancing safety and managing operating costs, BS6-equipped vehicles rely on modern engine and emission-control systems to meet stricter emission standards.

The latest-generation SML Mahindra commercial vehicles are equipped with features such as Hill Start Assist, Multi-Information Meter Cluster, Gear Coaching System and Power and Economy Driving Modes, depending on the model and variant. These systems are designed to support vehicle control, driving efficiency and smoother operation in different driving conditions.

Regular maintenance remains important for maintaining the performance and reliability of modern BS6 commercial vehicles. Timely lubricant and filter replacement, brake inspections, technical checks and the use of appropriate spare parts can help maintain vehicle performance while identifying potential issues at an early stage.

The participation of more than 100 vehicles from Pokhara, Gorkha and surrounding areas reflects continued customer engagement with regular vehicle maintenance and after-sales service, according to the company.
